ASPIRE Project - Supported Volunteering
The ASPIRE project is designed to help and support anyone who faces challenges in their life into voluntary work.
We have a dedicated support worker, Eamonn McNamee who will work with the potential volunteer in a non judgemental and supportive manner. We can provide support with attending interviews, helping with journey planning and accompany clients onsite in the early days of any new placements.
Volunteering can bring structure and routine to a person’s life. The volunteer will feel part of a team, will gain confidence and improve their self esteem.
There is a vast and diverse choice ranging from dog walking, helping at retirement centres, gardening to shop work.
The time commitment varies depending upon the opportunity – from one morning per week to an hour every two weeks.
The benefits of volunteering are meeting new friends, learning and developing new skills, gaining work experience and improving employment opportunities and helping the local community.
To refer a volunteer please contact Eamonn on 01372 463587 or e-mail him on firstname.lastname@example.org to book an appointment.
All interviews are confidential and support workers are more than welcome to attend. We are happy to meet off site if the client is unable to travel to our offices in Esher,
