Equality Act 2010
The Equality Act 2010 received Royal Assent on 08 April 2010, and most of the provisions are expected to come into force in October 2010. Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles available for hire - Did you know that in addition to assessments and training courses, the Queen Elizabeth's Foundation Mobility Centre in Carshalton has rear entry vehicles for wheelchair passengers available for hire? Priority is given to people with Motor Neurone Disease however applications from people with other disabilities will be considered.
